It was founded by two harward student "Mark Zuckerberg" and his friend "Eduardo saverin" which was also his roomate. Firstly website membership was limited for harward students only.After facebook becoming famous it was spread in other colleges in boston area and further spread in united states. Users with age abhove 13 and valid email address was also able to use facebook.
